MagnaChip Introduces 30V Single N-Channel MOSFETs for Computing Applications

SEOUL, South Korea, June 27 /PRNewswire/ -- MagnaChip Semiconductor Ltd., a leading provider of analog and mixed signal semiconductor products for high volume consumer applications, today, announced the launch of its 30V N-Channel MOSFET series for use in computing applications.

The 30V N-Channel MOSFET series allows customers to save overall system cost by minimizing required board space and providing excellent switching performance with the specific combination of RDS (ON) and gate charge. These features are intended to reduce power consumption and allow for easier system construction in computing and a variety of other applications. Particularly, this series is well suited for the power supply topology of a VGA Card, contributing to the higher efficiency of buck topology.

Sang Park, Chairman and CEO of MagnaChip, commented, "We are delighted to launch our second 30V N-Channel MOSFET series, which is timely given the increasing market demand for power-efficient computing globally. We expect that our new 30V N-Channel Power MOSFET series will allow us to continue to differentiate our products in the computing market through provision of high quality products with enhanced performance to our customers. We are pleased with our rapid progress in developing and launching power solutions to date, as we have expanded our footprint and are able to meet more of our customers' needs."
