EAC and Fishbowl deploy Windchill^® PDMLink™ at Cirrus Design

Minneapolis, MN – May 28, 2008: Fishbowl Solutions and EAC Product Development Solutions announced today that Cirrus Design, the world's leading innovator of single-engine, piston-powered aircraft, selected Fishbowl and EAC to deploy the PTC Product Development System (PDS). Cirrus Design, a long time user of PTC Pro/ENGINEER®, Mathcad® and IsoDraw®, expanded their PTC solution footprint this past December with their production deployment of PTC PDS for their entire product design and data management initiatives.

The PTC Product Development System provides a single, integrated platform that supports the complex product development environment at Cirrus. All software and services for Cirrus’ project were purchased through Fishbowl and EAC.As with most large PDM projects, data migration coupled with data quality were a big concern for Cirrus as they considered a move to PTC PDS. Cirrus had data residing in Pro/INTRALINK®, network folders, Access databases, and more. Fishbowl was able to leverage their linkTools™ product suite to help migrate files and adjust metadata to enrich the data sets during the actual migration. Having these value added solutions combined with Fishbowl and EAC’s expertise with PTC Windchill solutions allowed the project to stay on time and under budget.
