SEATTLE, September 18, 2007: Dexter + Chaney (
www.dexterchaney.com) will exhibit several new functions in its Spectrum(TM) Construction Software at the NECA (National Electrical Contractors Association) Show October 5-8 in San Francisco (booth #813, Moscone Convention Center). The company also will unveil its new trade-show booth, which emphasizes the Spectrum marketing theme, “Many Tasks/One Goal.”
DOCUMENT IMAGING SEARCH
The Google-like search capability in Spectrum’s Document Imaging module enables users to find documents stored anywhere within their entire database of documents. Users can simply enter any word or character string (names, addresses, job numbers, phone numbers, etc.) to begin the search. Spectrum finds those words and lists each document that contains them, displayed by relevancy, and provides a link to open each one.
QUERY AND DASHBOARDS MODULE
Spectrum’s Query and Dashboards module provides graphic displays (or “dashboards”) of a construction company’s key performance indicators. The module provides real-time access to project, schedule and financial information in a concise, easily understandable format. Dashboards are tailored to the specific needs of executive, operations and financial personnel.
Visitors to Dexter + Chaney’s NECA Show booth will also view some of the 350 new Crystal Reports that Dexter + Chaney has added to Spectrum.
NEW BOOTH
The new booth promotes Spectrum’s “Many Tasks/One Goal” theme by depicting a race-car pit crew—an amazing example of teamwork in action. Spectrum is designed to foster greater teamwork within an electrical contracting company. Linking operations, financial and executive team members improves both productivity and profitability.
The booth also highlights several of Spectrum’s key functions, including document imaging, project management, service management and resource scheduling.
