What: CH2M HILL and IDV Solutions will introduce their Spatial Supply Chain Management solution, a cost-effective spatial technology application that brings supply-related data 'to life' by leveraging the visualization power of Microsoft Virtual Earth and Sharepoint.
Using a typical supply chain operation for an automobile manufacturer as example, the solution demonstration will:
- Visualize the location, status and quantity of the business' key assets
- Display real-time asset information that can be disseminated organization wide
- Use interactive maps and aerial imagery as the primary context for displaying data
- Leverage a personalized dashboard to visually monitor supplier contact information, supplier location and stability history; as well as key supply chain performance metrics and indicators
- Quickly and efficiently drill-down to event, stock, supply and other asset-specific detail
- Provide visual reports and summaries related to a company's supply chain operation
