ClearSkies Geomatics Inc. (Colorado, USA) expands their investment in the airborne laser scanning rental market with the purchase of two additional RIEGL VQ-1560 II-S Airborne Sensors as part of their foundational fleet of systems. The RIEGL VQ-1560 II-S has a long-demonstrated history of reliability and performance and follows the successful concept of RIEGL’s proven dual-channel laser scanner series. This system provides outstanding target coverages with its unique cross-fire scanning geometry, exceptional detail of vertical facades and complex targets, superior vegetation penetration, and equally distant point spacing. For high-density powerline surveying at speed or mountain surveying at altitude, the VQ-1560 II-S is the ideal sensor when application diversity is to be expected. The RIEGL VQ-1560 II-S is equipped for a multitude of applications and has become a benchmark in the industry.
“We are thrilled to be able to add two more RIEGL VQ-1560 II-S sensor systems to our rental fleet,” said Pat McConnell, President for ClearSkies Geomatics, Inc. “These sensors enable ClearSkies Geomatics to provide our clients with high-accuracy, high-productivity lidar systems so they can complete their critical projects efficiently and flexibly. Having these lidar systems available for our clients means that they can confidently bid on projects knowing that they will be able to expand their capacity when needed. And we know that with RIEGL as our trusted partner, we are building a rental service leveraging the best lidar technology in the industry."
Integration of the RIEGL VQ-1560 II-S
