2024 DAC, The Chips to Systems Conference: A Record-Breaking Year for Innovation and Participation

San Francisco, CA. – July 31, 2024 – DAC, The Chip to Systems Conference, the industry's premier event dedicated to the design and design automation of electronic circuits and systems, continues its upward trajectory with significant increases in both submissions and attendance. This year's conference showcased groundbreaking advancements and saw unprecedented participation from the global electronics community.

DAC 2024 reported a remarkable 34% increase in paper submissions for the Research Track and a 32% increase in submissions for the Engineering Track, highlighting the rapid pace of innovation and the growing interest in the field. Additionally, AI sessions now constitute 13% of the conference, reflecting the rising importance of artificial intelligence in electronic design.

Conference attendance also jumped 8% compared to the previous year, as organizers welcomed a vibrant and diverse group of participants from academia, industry, and government sectors. This year's event hosted 25 new first-time exhibitors, adding fresh perspectives and innovations to the exhibition floor.

Vivek De, of Intel and General Chair of DAC 2024, expressed his enthusiasm about the conference's growth and the high quality of submissions. "The expansion of our program with highly qualified submissions and a vibrant exhibition underscores the dynamic nature of our industry. DAC returns to San Francisco, June 22 - 26, 2025.  The call for papers and presentations will open October 1, 2024.
