3YOURMIND Celebrates 10 Years of Modernizing Additive Manufacturing Workflows

Berlin, June 18, 2024 – 3YOURMIND, an on-demand manufacturing software provider, celebrates ten years of supporting major enterprises in their quest to modernize manufacturing methods.

The company, founded in 2014 by Aleksander Ciszek and Stephan Kühr at the Technical University in Berlin, entered additive manufacturing when the industry was primarily focused on prototyping parts. Ciszek and Kühr saw an opportunity to provide software solutions that maximize additive manufacturing knowledge. Their goal was to allow customers to analyze part designs to determine whether they could be produced with additive manufacturing and, if so, at what cost.

Since 2014, 3YOURMIND has been tireless in its efforts to make additive manufacturing technology more accessible. In its initial iteration, 3YOURMIND developed an Uber-inspired marketplace platform that connected consumers with providers offering 3D printing services. In the years that followed, 3YOURMIND evolved to address the needs of enterprise customers by offering additive manufacturing workflow solutions that address part identification, ordering, and production. In 2018, led by Alexandre Donnadieu, now chief commercial officer, 3YOURMIND boldly entered the U.S. market with its enterprise software solutions, quickly winning customers like Ford Motor Company and the U.S. Navy, NIWC Pacific.

In just ten years, 3YOURMIND has made headlines by securing programs of record with several organizations within the U.S. Department of Defense. 3YOURMIND software supports these organizations’ efforts to strengthen supply chains by identifying part candidates and building digital part inventories in anticipation of on-demand manufacturing.

“Since 3YOURMIND first entered the U.S. market in 2019, we have made powerful strides to accelerate U.S. enterprises’ efforts to transform their manufacturing methods and gain a competitive edge,” says Alexandre Donnadieu, chief commercial officer of 3YOURMIND. “We’re proud of the work we’ve accomplished in such a short time and are eager to continue our efforts in the coming years.”

Today, 3YOURMIND continues to set its sights on the future.

“3YOURMIND was founded on the notion that software solutions can empower engineers to leverage and maximize the potential of powerful technologies like additive manufacturing,” says co-founder and CEO Aleksander Ciszek. “As we look to the future, we’re still deeply motivated by this idea and are intent on standardizing digital spare parts inventories that enable large enterprises to print parts on demand.”
