Submissions for the festival open on February 27th and close on September 24th, and the festival itself will run from October 13th to October 22nd, 2023.

The Trickfilm Real-Time Animation Festival is open to submissions from animators and filmmakers of all experience levels. Selected films will be screened on the Trickfilm platform during the festival, and a panel of judges will award a CA$5000 prize for the "Best In Show".
