Over the weekend, European Space Imaging partner Maxar Technologies, collected new high-resolution satellite images (November 11th at 10:25 AM local time) of the Kherson and Nova Kakhovka region in Ukraine that reveals significant new damage to several bridges and the Nova Kakhovka dam in the aftermath of the Russian retreat from Kherson across the Dnipro River.
Multiple sections of the Antonovskiy Bridge that crosses the Dnipro River near Kherson have been heavily damaged and some spans have dropped into the water below. Northeast of the Antonovskiy Bridge, an additional bridge that crosses the Inhulets River at Darivka has also been destroyed (location:46.743, 32.796) as well as the Antonovskiy railroad bridge (location: 46.675, 32.796). Nearby, significant new damage is also seen at the Nova Kakhovka dam with sections of the northern extent of the dam and sluice gates deliberately destroyed.
