Targeting embedded recorder systems on Xilinx Ultra Scale FPGA: NVME-HOST-K7U IP

France, Gournay sur Marne, January 20th 2022 - Logic Design Solutions (LDS) launches the release of its NVME HOST IP on XILINX UltraScale FPGA for embedded recording.

The NVMe HOST K7U IP is easy to use, both for those who are new to NVMe drives and for the more experienced.

Thus, the entire NVMe protocol is managed by the IP, which is connected to a PCIe Root Port IP embedded in the FPGA. PCIe and NVMe configuration is done automatically on demand.

The configuration of the recording session is done by writing to IP registers. All buses are AXI type to facilitate the implementation of IP.The IP can be connected either to a state machine, whose VHDL source code is provided or to a CPU whose C code is also provided. The user can thus start his project directly from projects delivered by LDS.
