New Pi Kit for Quinly Provides Print Queue, Automation and Wireless Access to Creality Ender 3 / Pro / V2 Owners

3D printer operators can now remove parts and run continuously without ever leaving their desk.

Vancouver, Canada Nov. 25, 2020 (3DQue Systems)
Almost any printer operator will tell you that removing parts and running a 3D printer is pretty easy. Setting alarms to wake up in the middle of the night, going in to work on weekends, and letting printers sit idle until you can get to them can seriously interrupt your day.

3DQue just announced the release of their Pi Kit for Quinly, the automated 3D print manager. Designed to be plug-n-play, the Pi Kit for Quinly provides all of the cables and other hardware needed to install a Raspberry Pi 4 on any Ender 3 series printer.

Rather than spending time sourcing the Pi, SD card, cables, fans, and mount and then even more time installing the Quinly software, users can use the kit to quickly attach the Pi to their printer, protect it with the enclosure supplied and access it through their WiFi network. In three simple steps, users are up and running with their Quinly software.

“Ender 3 printers don’t come with the computing power needed to run automation software and connect wirelessly,” says Mateo Pekic, co-founder and Chief of Innovations at 3DQue, “while many of our customers have Raspberry Pi 4’s, those who don’t have one want an easy-to-use solution with our Quinly software already installed. The Pi Kit for Quinly gives them that.”

For those who want to DIY, 3DQue provides a list of components and step-by-step instructions for installing the Raspberry Pi 4 on their printers. “We are happy to support our customers by providing information on our resources page at 3DQue.com/Resources, on our community channel on Discord, and through our live streams on twitch.tv” asserts Steph Sharp, co-founder and CEO.

About Quinly for Ender 3
The Pi Kit for Quinly provides everything users need to upgrade their printers to run Quinly which was developed from 3DQue’s industrial automation system. In a recent trial, 3DQue achieved 1,000 hours of autonomous printing in just 5 days saving over 80 hours of operator time. This same core automation used by 3DQue to produce thousands of parts for local manufacturers and small businesses is now available to individual users and print farm operators through Quinly for Ender 3 Quinly for Ender 3 is the only automated print manager that has unattended part release using 3DQue's proprietary VAAPR print bed technology.
