MILPITAS SAN JOSE, Calif., March 19, 2020 — (PRNewswire) —  Alchip Technologies, Limited, the high-performance computing ASIC leader, today announced the opening of its North American headquarters.  The new office at 1900 McCarthy Blvd serves both business management and technology services.

The company also announced that Mr. Hioryuki Nagashima will head the new office.  Mr. Nagashima previously served in business development and business management roles in Alchip's Japan office.

According to Mr. Nagashima, Alchip will focus on Hyperscalers, OEM's and fabless IC device companies who require product-specific, high performance IC's.  Initial demand has come server farm and cloud computing companies seeking very tightly defined parameters for artificial intelligence and machine learning applications.  Similar demand is expected to come from network infrastructure and autonomous automotive applications.
