GISCI Announces Revised Blueprint for the GISCI Geospatial Core Technical Knowledge Exam ®

Des Plaines, IL (July 5, 2019) -- GISCI has released a revised blueprint for the Geospatial Core Technical Knowledge Exam ® for the GISP certification.  The December 2019 exam and subsequent exams will be based on the revised blueprint.

Periodic review and revision of the exam blueprint content and organization ensures that exam remains current and relevant to the GIS field. The revised exam blueprint was developed and validated by more than 2400 certified GISPs.

GISCI developed the initial blueprint for the GISCI Geospatial Core Technical Knowledge Exam® first offered in 2015.  It has been the basis of our exam administration since that time.
