RALEIGH, N.C. — (BUSINESS WIRE) — May 14, 2019 The Internet of Things Community ® (IoT Community ® ), the world’s largest network of CxOs and IoT professionals, today announced the exclusive agenda for its IoT Slam Live Conference, the 9th conference in the highly acclaimed and coveted series of IoT Slam® events, taking place on June 20-21, at the Archie K. Davies Conference Center, in RTP, North Carolina, and broadcasting in real-time globally online, easily accessible on any desktop, laptop, tablet, or mobile device.

The event marks the  IoT Community’s 9th international IoT conference, and its third live in-person event in RTP. This event provides the global IoT ecosystem with a unique opportunity to learn from expert innovative practitioners about best practices for enterprises designing, securing, developing, and shaping the future of the IoT landscape.

The IoT Slam Live event features expert contributions from elite IoT practitioners at leading-edge organizations including IBM, SAS, HPE, T-Systems, Zebra Technologies, Amazon AWS, Persistent, Spirent, among others.

Delivering the event's opening headline keynote, Dr. Tom Bradicich, VP & Hewlett Packard Fellow, Global Head, IoT and Edge CoE & Labs, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, will present and review his pioneering “7 Principles of the IoT,” and how he used them to incept Hewlett Packard‘s first corporate IoT strategy, secure investment capital, and launch over 12 SW and HW products expressly designed for the IoT and intelligent edge—creating a new product category. He will discuss real-world customer deployments, use cases, and business cases, closing with his vision for the IoT future.

Also delivering one of the mastermind keynotes, will be technology luminary Dr. Kristof Kloeckner, retired IBM CTO and Fellow, who will share insights on how service-based industries are under intense pressure to improve client interactions and automate service delivery. AI provides powerful tools to transform data into insights and to manage enterprise knowledge bases. Introducing AI into digital transformation initiatives requires a holistic approach, with focus on culture, organization, and processes.
