Directed by Charles Martin Smith, the screenplay is by W. Bruce Cameron & Cathryn Michon based on W. Bruce Cameron's book by the same name. The film is produced by Gavin Polone and Robert J. Dohrmann. T.D. Jakes, Derrick Williams, Yu Dong and Jeffrey Chan serve as executive producers. A Dog's Way Home is rated PG and stars Ashley Judd, Jonah Hauer-King, Edward James Olmos and Alexandra Shipp with Wes Studi and Bryce Dallas Howard, who voices "Bella."
