Over 1,600 exhibiting companies will participate in the show to attract 34,000 trade attendees and business leaders. First time ever in its 3 decades celebration, the event will be held with Subcon Indonesia 2018 - Indonesia's first subcontracting exhibition. Held to provide opportunities local subcontractors to present their capabilities, to cater effective way to connect a gap between the market and industry of machine makers and end manufacturers which formerly exist and are actively present at the event.
The expo is also introducing Industry 4.0 Showcase for the first time, featuring the 9 major pillars including additive manufacturing, augmented reality, big data & analytics, cybersecurity, and autonomous robots.

In the big leap of Indonesia's industrial sector, Indonesian Ministry of Industry has initiated industry 4.0 roadmap, Making Indonesia 4.0, earlier this year. It integrates industrial production and manufacturing with the new digital-based models in Indonesia, aiming to achieve the world's 10 largest economies by 2030. Now, Indonesia has been listed as one of the world's top 10 manufacturing industry by the United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO).
Manufacturing Indonesia 2018 is a converging platform for all attendees with industry players and notable exhibitors from including DMG Mori, First Machinery Trade Co, Jaya Metal, Kanematsu KGK, Mitsubishi Electric Indonesia, Somagede and Yamaha Motor Parts Manufacturing Indonesia.
