Copernicus for Agriculture is a Training and Information Session on Copernicus to be held in Bari, Italy, next November 27, 2018.
The meeting is part of a series of national events on Copernicus organized by the European Commission in collaboration with the Member States, whose goal is to promote the multiple uses of Copernicus data and products, with particular attention to the needs and interests of the community of local users.
The Italian event promoting the European Copenicus program will focus on the topic of Space & Agriculture.
For the Italian event we will discuss the opportunities offered to agriculture by the constellation of European satellites called Sentinels. An international panel of experts will illustrate the Copernicus program and the applications in agriculture: experts of the European Commission, researchers, entrepreneurs and officials from the Italian Ministry and from the Regions.
In brief, in the Italian stage will focus on:
- Introduction to Copernicus data access mechanisms and access to finance
- Copernicus applications for agriculture
