MACOM’s new MATA-07825 is a high sensitivity TIA enabling SFP+ module vendors to provide 12G-SDI modules which can also support Pathological patterns down to SD rates. This TIA features sensitivity of 11.88Gbps to enable link budgets of more than 10km using a PIN photodiode on singlemode fiber, and can support longer distances with an Avalanche Photo-Diode (APD). The MATA-07825 includes a receive signal strength indicator (RSSI) which can be used with a PIN photodiode. (Photo: Business Wire)
