GISCI Announces 2018 Summer Exam Test Period

Des Plaines, IL (January 19, 2018) The next testing window for the GISCI Geospatial Core Technical Knowledge Exam® as a part of the GISP Certification is scheduled for June 2-9, 2018.    

The Exam application form, testing center locations, and exam prep materials, as well as a practice exam are now available on the GISCI web site.   Visit the Exam Info tab at   www.gisci.org   

Application Period:             North American locations: Applications close two weeks before testing window begins

                                                 International Locations:    Applications close six weeks before testing window begins

Worldwide Exam Dates:     June 2-9, 2018

Locations:                             PSIOnline Worldwide Testing Centers  

Procedure:    

  • Apply directly with GISCI;  Application link available after log-in and registration at  https://www.gisci.org
  • After payment to GISCI, you will receive an authorization email from PSIOnline
  • Schedule a specific exam date and location directly with PSIOnline, our worldwide test provider  
  • A preview of exam locations is available at   https://www.gisci.org/ExamInfo/ExamTestingLocations.aspx

 

Existing GISPs are not eligible to take the Exam, and it is not a part of GISP recertification.

GISCI will offer the GISCI Geospatial Core Technical Knowledge Exam® to individuals independent of the application for the Portfolio Review process.   

The Exam will be administered in a computer-based-format (CBT) by PSI Online, a worldwide exam delivery company with over 70 years of experience in providing computer based testing (CBT) facilities across the US, Canada, and around the world.   Detailed information on test locations and exam prep materials are available on the GISCI site.

We encourage all applicants to sign up early to ensure obtaining the most convenient  location and time!
