Triax Technologies Execs to Present Role of IoT Tech in Improving Construction Site Safety, Visibility at Autodesk University Company to Unveil New IoT Solution, Exhibit Flagship Spot-r Wearable System

NORWALK, Conn., Nov. 6, 2017 –  Triax Technologies, Inc., a leading provider of technology for the  connected jobsite, today announced that it will be unveiling a new IoT-based technology solution for construction during  Autodesk University taking place Nov. 13-16, 2017 in Las Vegas. Additionally, its co-founder and CEO Chad Hollingsworth, and CIO Ben Sweet, will participate in several panel discussions on leveraging Internet of Things (IoT)-enabled technology to improve construction site visibility, safety and project execution.

During the IoT panel on Nov. 13, Hollingsworth will discuss new developments in the construction technology ecosystem and how emerging technologies are being used to solve safety and productivity challenges, reduce costs and improve project execution.  He will also participate in a media-only session on leveraging real-time data from the connected jobsite.

“Until now, it’s been very difficult for general contractors to see what is happening across their jobsites and to respond to safety incidents in real-time. New wearable technology is a game changer – automatically alerting designated supervisors to slip, trip and fall incidents when they occur so they can respond immediately. In addition, this IoT-based technology provides critical visibility into workforce activity to help contractors improve labor productivity and better manage projects.”

Following are the details on the panel discussions:
