AssetWorks Revolutionizes Facilities Customer Service

SAN ANTONIO, Oct. 19, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- AssetWorks announces the launch of ReADY Request, the newest member in their suite of integrated workplace management system (IWMS) software. ReADY Request is an easy-to-use online application for facilities customers to submit requests and track the status of those services, providing a self-service interface for facilities customers that creates true end-to-end  facility management software solution.

Together now, the ReADY, AiM, and FiRE facility management software suite completes the communication loop between the customer, facilities department, and field employees by connecting customer requests to field personnel.

Designed with facilities customers in mind, ReADY Request requires no user training, allowing ease of use for everyone within an organization - regardless of technical skills.

Beyond simplifying the submission of a customer request, ReADY Request provides a way for customers to track work requests and creates a channel of communication between the requester, facilities department, and (via FiRE mobile apps) field technicians. By facilitating better customer service and greater efficiencies, ReADY Request ensures technicians receive the necessary information to maximize effectiveness.

For those in the facilities office, ReADY Request standardizes and streamlines processes, giving supervisors confidence that authorizations and funding are provided before work begins. Work planners are provided more consistent and complete information which leads to more accurate decisions regarding priority and the expertise and size of the team needed to perform the work.

Conceptualized over two years ago, AssetWorks has been collaborating with a select team of committed customers from day one on this initiative.

Glenn Adams, ReADY Request Product Manager, said: “These dedicated SIG (Special Interest Group) members contributed their irreplaceable experiences, unique points of view, knowledge, and opinions throughout the entire design and development process allowing us to create a product I am confident meets the needs of every facilities department.”

One SIG member noted: “ReADY was very simple and easy to set up. While I don’t have a background in IT, it all makes sense to see how everything fits together. ReADY will save us significant time and money in the long run as we streamline our customer request and fulfillment process.”

As the beta testing phase comes to an end, several SIG members are now in the early production phase of their ReADY Request launch.
