3-Day, Hands-On Workshop to Take Place March 20 - 22, 2017

Sedona, AZ, January 13, 2017 -- GeoMattix is pleased to announce a new 3-day workshop on Designing and Deploying Foolproof Collector Projects for those new to GIS field data collection with Esri’s Collector app.  The hands-on workshop will take place in Sedona, Arizona, March 20 - 22, 2017.

“I designed the workshop to help those new to GPS and/or new to Collector to get fully operational in 3 short days of hands-on training,” says Michele Mattix, owner of GeoMattix.  “There is a lot of confusion about the tools required to use the Collector workflow,” says Mattix.  “The truth is, you can use Collector with or without ArcGIS for Server and with any license level of ArcGIS for Desktop.  Practically any Esri ArcGIS user already has access to the tools to use Collector successfully for field data collection,” she says.

In addition to the 3-day workshop, students will gain access to two of GeoMattix’s online training videos:  Introduction to GPS Technology and GPS Mapping with Esri’s Collector.  These classes will help to reinforce the essential workflows and tools for working with Collector.  Further, the workshop price includes two post-workshop teleconference calls where students can discuss issues with Collector projects they are working on.
