New Polaris Offers Incredible Price-to-Performance Ratio

A long-range system with a short-range price tag, the new Optech Polaris terrestrial laser scanner enhances accuracy and speed while simplifying field operations.

New Maverick Enables Versatile Asset Mapping

The new Optech Maverick mobile mapping system fits a lidar, camera and INS into a 9-kg package that fits on a backpack or a Segway, dramatically raising the bar for size, portability and versatility.

New Lynx HS-600 Doubles Scanner Rate for High-Speed Surveys

The new Optech Lynx HS-600 mobile mapper makes twice as many scan lines/second as its closest competitor, letting surveyors achieve uniform point distribution at highway speeds.

Galaxy Scanner Enhanced for Improved Coverage Rate

A major scanner upgrade has given a 30% boost to the class-leading coverage rate of the Optech Galaxy airborne laser terrain mapper, letting it cover large areas for far less money than competing systems.

Merrick and Company Review Galaxy Performance

Matt Bethel of Merrick and Company has published his experiences with the Optech Galaxy, showing that can meet USGS QL2-QL0 and improve efficiency by 75% over older sensors.

Detecting Danger on the Matterhorn with ILRIS

In a recent article, Dr. Andrea Tamburini of IMAGEO Srl described how the Optech ILRIS TLS let him survey the Matterhorn from long range to identify weak points on the rock face.
