Master Magnetics Provides Complete Range of Magnetic Solutions for Manufacturing at IMTS 2016

Castle Rock, Colo., Sep 1, 2016 –  Master Magnetics, Inc. (The Magnet Source®) provides unique magnetic solutions aimed at material handling, tool holding and storage, and shop safety for manufacturing professionals. Samples from this product line will be featured at IMTS, booth W-2280.

The depth and breadth of magnetic solutions offered by Master Magnetics illustrates their understanding and commitment to manufacturing.

Material Handling Solutions
One continual challenge in manufacturing is material handling.  From bulk part lifters to Heavy Duty Lifting Magnets, there is a unique magnetic tool to help manufacturing engineers and managers increase operational performance while improving worker safety.

Heavy Duty Neodymium Lifting Magnets provide extraordinary strength in a compact size, ensuring safety and speed for lifting heavy loads. Designed to lift both flat and round ferrous metal items, they are ideal for handling steel plates, forgings, die castings, and similar items in machine shops, warehouses and industrial processing plants.

Magnetic bulk parts lifters allow for the simple transfer of bulk metal pieces including nails, screws, nuts, washers, eyebolts, or other ferrous metal items.

Welding and High Heat Solutions Designed to keep both hands free to safely work on the project at hand, welding magnets provide an ideal fast and accurate set up.  Strong magnets securely hold metal objects in place for perfectly aligned edges.

“Welding magnets are one of the most useful devices we offer,” said Jennifer Brown, chief operating officer at Master Magnetics. “They provide that third hand for welders, leaving them free to perform quality work, safely and accurately.”

Master Magnetics provides a range of magnetic devices for welders from angles to grounds, all designed with safety and quality in mind.

Tool Holding and Storages
With the popularity of mobile tooling and work stations, Master Magnetics continues to provide valuable, reliable and unique options for manufacturing.

Most recently introduced are 27 new round base magnetic assemblies.  These strong and versatile magnetic assemblies feature threaded bases or hooks, and provide a range of mounting and holding options for industrial and manufacturing industries.

The new offerings include:

  • Grade 42 neodymium male and female threaded assemblies
  • Grade 42 neodymium J hooks
  • Rubber coated neodymium male and female threaded assemblies

Additional tool holding offerings include tool holders, parts trays, and magnetic assemblies. Tools and equipment can be stored and retrieved easily with magnetic assemblies that are repositionable and available in a range of strengths, sizes and finishes,

Shop Safety Solutions
Magnetic sweepers headline the offerings ideal for shop safety solutions. Master Magnetics offers a complete line of magnetic sweepers featuring push, hang or trailer-type styles. The super-powered, permanent magnet assemblies, ranging from 12 to 96 inches in width, are perfect for the fast and efficient removal of hazardous scrap metal debris from warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, manufacturing and shop areas, job sites, workshops, and other important traffic areas.
