Hsinchu, Taiwan– Jul 13, 2016– CoreTech System (Moldex3D), the global leading provider of plastic injection molding simulation solutions, has released a new version of its CAD-integrated add-on eDesignSYNC to help accelerate design and manufacturing process through greater simulation accuracy and efficiency. CoreTech System (Moldex3D) is also offering a limited-time offer which will see customers receive a free license for the eDesignSYNC when they purchase or upgrade to Moldex3D R14 by the end of this year.
Linking Moldex3D plastic injection molding simulation directly into mainstream CAD systems (NX, PTC Creo and SOLIDWORKS), eDesignSYNC enables real-time insights into moldability to address potential design issues before production. In the latest version, eDesignSYNC R14.0 comes with several enhancements to help users identify design problems and make design changes more accurately and efficiently—most notably, the solver’s performance has been elevated to yield more accurate simulation analysis results. The new feature Result Advisor is introduced to speed up the process of problem detection by offering users a quick summary report of what potential design problems have been found, such as short shots, air traps, weld lines, degradation, hesitation and unbalanced gate contribution, along with suggestions for corrective actions. To provide more comprehensive insights to optimize process conditions, the L/t Indicator is now integrated with Gate Advisor to help part designers get gate locations right the first time.
The new version also offers many post-processing enhancements to make running analysis and result interpretation simpler and more efficient. Batch Run feature adds more flexibility in setting up analyses, which allows analyzing multiple designs with different process settings at the same time. Besides that, part designers and mold-makers can now easily communicate and exchange valuable analysis results using Report Generator, which can output custom analysis reports in HTML, PDF and PowerPoint formats.
“Moldex3D has been partnering with leading CAD solution providers SIEMENS, PTC and Dassault Systèmes for years to make plastic injection molding simulation easily accessible without leaving familiar CAD environments,” said Dan Chang, Product Manager at Moldex3D. “We will continuously enhance the user experience and simulation capabilities to help plastic part designers and mold-makers bridge the gap between design and manufacturing.” For more information about eDesignSYNC R14.0 and its limited-time offer, please visit http://www.moldex3d.com/en/edesignsync-promotion.
