Redstack first in Southern Hemisphere to offer accelerated Autodesk software delivery

29 June, 2016 - Redstack, one of Australia’s leading suppliers of design and engineering technologies, is now the first reseller to offer digital distribution of Autodesk software to its clients in the Southern Hemisphere.

Working closely with Autodesk distributor Dicker Data, Redstack now provides accelerated, easy and affordable access to the full range of Autodesk subscriptions.

Recognising that manual processing creates delays and uncertainties, Redstack has worked closely with Dicker Data and Autodesk to deliver an advanced, end-to-end digital workflow to ensure clients receive their Autodesk software as efficiently and accurately as possible.

With a best-in-class online store, Redstack clients can now place orders online and receive a reply email with a link to download their software within two hours.  This provides Redstack with a significant advantage over its competitors that rely on manual processes and aim to deliver software within 48 hours.

Redstack provides a flexible service with the option to order your software on a USB device for those clients who would prefer physical media rather than a download.

This is the first stage of the Redstack autonomous software delivery and management system. Once completed, clients will have the assurance of set-and-forget Autodesk licensing with automatic renewal options. With auto renewal, the risk of missing your renewal date and losing access to your technology at the worst possible time is removed.

“We have invested heavily in back-office systems and automation to see Redstack through the next decade,” says Redstack Managing Director Michael Lachs.

“As software vendors like Autodesk transition the way software is delivered, it is critical for client service organisations like Redstack to adapt. As a Redstack client, you will have access to the best-in-class service and unprecedented simplicity in managing your software assets. Isn’t that the way it should be?”

Redstack’s client portal and online license management tools will allow clients to manage their software with the ability to review licensing requirements and turn their software on and off as required.  With digital delivery and automated renewals, Redstack provides the easiest and most flexible way to manage your Autodesk subscriptions in line with changing staff and project needs.

Autodesk’s transition to subscription licensing provides an affordable price point for many who may not have had access to the industry-leading software in the past.  With an automated software delivery system, Redstack will be able to offer monthly subscription options in the near future, further lowering the cost of obtaining Autodesk software. Redstack clients can now utilise Autodesk software to compete for new work, complete existing projects more effectively and collaborate with the wider Autodesk community at a much lower upfront cost.
