About Dr. Nguyen Tuan Duc:
With a Japanese governmental (Ministry of Education) scholarship, he completed Bachelor/Master/Doctor courses at Tokyo University and obtained his Ph.D in Information Science and Technology. His research paper “Development of Cross-lingual Latent Semantic Search Engine” was adopted into the Japanese governmental IPA project Mito (main part) in 2010 and at AAAI 2011. The paper also achieved two major awards: JSAI (the Japanese Society for Artificial Intelligence) Annual Conference Award 2010 and Google Research Award 2010. He also won the Microsoft CORE research grant for his research.
