May 11, 2016 -- Pléiades and SPOT 7 satellites, operated by Airbus Defence and Space, have captured images of the devastating fires around Fort Mac Murray city in Alberta, Canada, covering more than 1,600 km² and which led to the evacuation of more than 100,000 residents.
