Adesto to show ultra-low energy memory technologies at IoT DevCon with new CBRAM product, CTO presentation and product demos

SUNNYVALE, Calif., May 09, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Adesto Technologies (NASDAQ:IOTS) announced its participation in the Internet of Things Developers Conference (IoT DevCon) where it will highlight its CBRAM® resistive RAM technology and other low energy memory products. IoT DevCon 2016 is devoted to educating attendees with technical information and discussions related to the state-of-the-art and the practical side of implementing IoT technology in embedded systems.

WHO:

Adesto Technologies, a leading provider of application-specific, ultra-low power non-volatile memory products

WHAT:

Adesto CTO Gideon Intrater will present: “Rebalancing the Energy Budget in IoT Systems,” focusing on the power consumption challenges of off-the-shelf semiconductor memory technologies, and the industry imperative to address this issue. He will discuss technologies and techniques that are already available to satisfy the new requirements of the IoT, enabling designers to extend the battery life of their systems and/or use smaller batteries, or even design systems for battery-free operation through energy harvesting.

In its exhibit booth, Adesto will demonstrate the concepts laid out by Mr. Intrater, showing how Adesto’s Conductive Bridging RAM (CBRAM) technology – which is shipping in volume today – can achieve 50-100x lower power in read/write operations versus competitive solutions.

During the show, Adesto will also unveil a new CBRAM product which provides designers with even more flexibility to target specific IoT applications. Attend Adesto’s presentation or visit its booth at the show to learn more.

WHERE:

IoT DevCon 2016, Hyatt Regency Santa Clara; Adesto Exhibit (Mezzanine Exhibit Area) #M11

WHEN:

IoT DevCon will be held May 25 – 26, 2016. Mr. Intrater’s presentation will take place at 10am on Thursday, May 26. Adesto’s exhibit booth will be open during the show’s exhibit hours.
