EDA Veteran Michael Munsey Joins Methodics as VP of Strategic Accounts and Business Development
San Francisco, CA May 3, 2016 – Methodics Inc, a leader in IP and data management and storage optimization and workspace acceleration solutions for complex System-on-Chip designs, is pleased to announce and welcome Michael Munsey as Vice President of Strategic Accounts and Business Development. Michael will be responsible for developing new business opportunities and establishing win-win relationships with key strategic customers and partners.

Prior to joining Methodics, Michael was Senior Director of Strategy and Product Marketing for semiconductors, software life cycle management, and IoT at Dassault Systemes. Along with strategic initiatives, he was responsible for business development, partnerships, and cross-industry initiatives such as automotive electronics, and M&A in the above areas.
Michael began his career with IBM as an ASIC designer and, over the past 25 years in the EDA and semiconductor industries, has held various senior and executive-level positions in marketing, sales, and business development. He was a member of the founding teams for two EDA companies, and also worked for established companies including Cadence, VIEWLogic, and Tanner EDA. Michael received his BSEE from Tufts University and his Masters in Computer Engineering from Syracuse University.
