SAN JOSE, CA, April 4, 2016 – S2C, Inc., a leading provider of FPGA-based rapid prototyping solutions, has announced that CEO Toshio Nakama will be one of three panelists on the “FPGA Prototyping for IoT” panel at this year’s EDPS on April 21 in Monterey, CA. The panel moderated by SemiWiki’s Dan Nenni will discuss the use of FPGA prototyping in the design and verification of Internet of Things devices.
The panel will follow the keynote address titled “The Internet of Trust and a New Frontier for Exploration” given by technology author, Don Dingee. The keynote address will explore how the cost-effective FPGA prototyping technology will evolve to keep pace with the IoT trust issues.
The Electronic Design Processes 2016 Workshop and Symposium fosters the free exchange of ideas among the top thinkers, movers, and shakers who focus on how chips and systems are designed in the electronic industry. It has provided a forum for this cross-section of the design community to discuss state-of-the-art improvements to electronics design processes.
“It is an honor to be chosen to help represent the future of FPGA prototyping at this distinguished event,” commented Toshio Nakama, CEO of S2C, Inc. “The world of IoT is exploding and will need a design and verification technology and methodology that are both efficient and cost-effective to keep up with demand.”
