TEL AVIV, Israel, and LONDON, March 02, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Top Image Systems, Ltd. (NASDAQ:TISA), a global innovator of intelligent content processing solutions, announced today the deployment of eFLOW® to implement a content processing project at a British governmental agency to digitally capture personnel applications and related documents for security examination.  The project has a total contract value of $350,000 for TIS and will process a volume of some 1.3 million documents per year.  TIS was invited to partner for the project execution with TerraQuest,  an established UK provider of land referencing, development planning, geographic information systems, data management and fully outsourced business process solutions to both the public and private sectors across the UK and a wholly owned subsidiary of the Mears Group PLC having a turnover in excess of £800m.

To carry out accurate and thorough background checks of citizens’ applications, the government agency has the responsibility to collect personal data from multiple data sources and validate the information gathered to ensure the outcome is correct and only suitable applicants are selected for any given position.

In an effort to maximize accuracy, efficiency and speed while minimizing cost and expenses for data entry, the Agency sought an outsourcing service which would provide them with a digital content processing solution that would avoid unnecessary manual entry and paper storage.  eFLOW is used by TerraQuest to digitize forms and associated whitemail items such as proof of IDs  before extracting and validating key data as efficiently as possible for further background checking. After engaging with several suppliers to provide them with a solution, TerraQuest selected Top Image Systems and its eFLOW capture and document processing solution for the project. Beginning the deployment in mid-2015, the project has gone live in January 2016 and is now in active production.
