Afton Chemical Chooses Intergraph® SmartPlant® Enterprise for Owner Operators for Jurong Island Plant

HUNTSVILLE, Ala., Feb. 4, 2016 — (PRNewswire) —  Leading global chemical manufacturer Afton Chemical has selected Intergraph's information management solution for facility owners, SmartPlant® Enterprise for Owner Operators, to underpin the electronic data management system (EDMS) on its new manufacturing plant on Jurong Island, Singapore, which was scheduled to begin production of next-generation additive solutions in January 2016.

As construction of the plant neared completion, Afton Chemical undertook an evaluation of a range of information management solutions to support the operations phase. The company decided on SmartPlant Enterprise for Owner Operators because it will provide a modern and cost-effective foundation for the next generation of EDMS.
