Jan 4, 2016 -- Abstracts of papers for presentation at the International Federation of Hydrographic Societies’ (IFHS) 24th symposium and exhibition to be held in Rostock-Warnemunde from 8-10 November are now required by organisers of the major three-day event, The German Hydrographic Society (DHyG).
Staged in the spacious Yachthafenresidenz Hohe Dune Hotel overlooking the Baltic Sea and expected to attract a worldwide audience drawn from all sectors of the hydrographic and related professions, main conference proceedings will be supported by an extensive exhibition of equipment and services in addition to specialist workshops and on-water demonstrations.
Conference proceedings are to include an exclusive dedicated session for student and graduate presentations for which a prize of £500 and a framed certificate will be awarded to the author of the one adjudged the best by delegates. Main topics to be generally featured will cover wide-ranging issues affecting Latest Technological Advances & Emerging Markets, Capacity Building, Data Processing & Management, Nautical Charting, Coastal Mapping & Seafloor Classification, Marine Renewables, Education & Training.
Abstracts of up to 300 words plus an optional illustration on any of the designated topics are required by no later than 30 March and should be forwarded to the organisers at Email Contact.
