DVCon U.S. 2016 Announces Advance Program; Registration Open

LOUISVILLE, Colo. — (BUSINESS WIRE) — December 14, 2015 — The 2016 Design and Verification Conference U.S. ( DVCon) Advance Program is now available online and registration is open. DVCon U.S., sponsored by Accellera Systems Initiative, will be held February 29-March 3, 2016 at the DoubleTree Hotel in San Jose, California.

Accellera Day kicks off the conference on Monday, February 29 and will include sessions offering Tips and Tricks for UVM and advanced SVA Verification, an introduction to Portable Stimulus, and the future of Analog/Mixed-Signal Modeling. There will also be a lunch panel on SystemC, as well as the presentation of Accellera’s annual Technical Excellence Award. The day will round out with the DVCon Expo and Booth Crawl.

The Keynote will be given this year by Wally Rhines, chairman and CEO of Mentor Graphics, on Tuesday, March 1 at 1:30 p.m. There will be two panel sessions held on Wednesday, March 2: “Redefining ESL” at 8:30 a.m. and “Emulation + Static Verification Will Replace Simulation” at 1:30 p.m. Over the course of the 4-day conference, the program will provide attendees with a highly technical selection of 39 papers, 12 tutorials and approximately 35 poster presentations.

“DVCon U.S. 2016 attendees can expect to learn about both practical solutions to pressing problems directly affecting their jobs, and also receive a preview of the technologies that will affect them in the near future,” stated Yatin Trivedi, DVCon U.S. 2016 general chair. “Such insights will be found not only in the technical papers, tutorials, posters and panels that make up the formal body of the conference, but also by taking part in informal discussions with their peers, many experts and exhibitors in attendance as well.”

Networking is a hallmark of DVCon and this year will be no exception. The Booth Crawl on Monday evening and the Exhibits Reception on both Tuesday and Wednesday evening provide excellent opportunities for informal discussions.
