Enyx Commercializes nxTCP and nxUDP: High Performance and Ultra-Low Latency TCP and UDP Full-Hardware Stack IP Cores for Altera and Xilinx FPGAs

2015 FIA Futures & Options Expo

CHICAGO — (BUSINESS WIRE) — November 4, 2015 — Enyx is unveiling its technology product line, which includes TCP and UDP FPGA Intellectual Property (IP) cores, respectively introduced as nxTCP and nxUDP.

Enyx, a world-class pioneer in ultra-low latency solutions for the financial industry, initially developed TCP and UDP stacks for its own solutions in 2011, also sold as PLDA QuickTCP and QuickUDP. Enyx TCP and UDP stacks today have over 40 world-wide customers, including hedge funds, exchanges, top-tier investment banks, telecom operators, research labs, universities, and technology manufacturers for the defense, aeronautics, aerospace and high performance computing industries.

“We are proud to have started selling IP Technology blocks at Enyx with UDP and TCP technologies. These are the most mature and obvious products to start with. This new IP offering will allow us to expand Enyx partnerships in the hardware acceleration industry and build strong worldwide distribution channels,” said Arnaud Derasse, Enyx Co-founder and CEO.

“We are excited to introduce the Enyx Technology branch. Thanks to the growing interest in our technology blocks across such a wide range of industries extending beyond finance, we are now focused on expanding our cross-industry presence to establish new opportunities in the FPGA development ecosystem,” said Eric Rovira Ricard, VP Business Development North America, who is in charge of global business development for the IP/Technology branch at Enyx.

Enyx nxTCP and nxUDP feature full RTL Layers 2, 3, 4 implementations with integrated ultra-low latency 10G MAC and PCS, compliant with the IEEE 802.3 standards, supporting ARP, IPv4, ICMP, IGMP and TCP/UDP protocols. Enyx nxTCP and nxUDP aim to reduce latency while offloading the server CPU from TCP/UDP network management. nxTCP and nxUDP are architected to work seamlessly on Altera and Xilinx FPGA designs.

nxTCP and nxUDP can be purchased directly from Enyx and from Enyx official board partners and distributors, who provide a variety of integration examples and reference designs of nxTCP and nxUDP for their boards. nxUDP is also available for Altera’s OpenCL BSP and for Enyx board partners’ proprietary OpenCL BSPs.

Enyx made this announcement today at the 2015 FIA Futures & Options Expo trade show, at the Hilton Chicago where it is currently exhibiting all its product lines.
