CST Announces 2015 Webinar Series

Darmstadt, Germany, 09 September 2015: CST – Computer Simulation Technology (CST®) announces a series of webinars covering trending topics in the world of electrical engineering. These free webinars will show how electromagnetic simulation can be used to design, analyze and optimize cutting-edge devices.

The webinars will benefit both existing CST customers and engineers who do not currently use simulation at all. The webinars will cover topics including graphene, implantable electronics and electrical car motor control, with applications across the spectrum from low-frequency, through microwaves and RF, to optical.

Each webinar will use realistic examples representing emerging applications of electromagnetic simulation using CST STUDIO SUITE® and CST’s partner products. As well as showing how simulation can be used to improve and optimize designs, the webinars will also demonstrate the use of simulation for analyzing the compliance of products to statutory regulations and OEM requirements for electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), aircraft certification for environmental electromagnetic effects (E3), multipaction & breakdown in high-power devices, and signal integrity/power integrity (SI/PI) in EDA specifications.

The webinar series will run from 24th September 2015 to 10th December 2015. More information and registration can be found here: www.cst.com/2015webseries. All webinars will be available on-demand after broadcast, but attendees to the live event will have the opportunity to ask questions directly to CST experts.

“Our CST webinar series has seen an amazing response every fall, and we hope to repeat that this year” said Dr. Martin Timm, Director of Global Marketing, CST. “We will continue our approach of covering interesting hot topics and shed light on both the applications themselves and on the modelling challenges they are accompanied by.”

About CST

Founded in 1992, CST offers the market’s widest range of 3D electromagnetic field simulation tools through a global network of sales and support staff and representatives. CST develops CST STUDIO SUITE, a package of high-performance software for the simulation of electromagnetic fields in all frequency bands, and also sells and supports complementary third-party products. Its success is based on a combination of leading edge technology, a user-friendly interface and knowledgeable support staff. CST’s customers are market leaders in industries as diverse as telecommunications, defense, automotive, electronics and healthcare. Today, the company enjoys a leading position in the high-frequency 3D EM simulation market and employs 280 sales, development, and support personnel around the world.

CST STUDIO SUITE is the culmination of many years of research and development into the most accurate and efficient computational solutions for electromagnetic designs. From static to optical, and from the nanoscale to the electrically large, CST STUDIO SUITE includes tools for the design, simulation and optimization of a wide range of devices. Analysis is not limited to pure EM, but can also include thermal and mechanical effects and circuit simulation. CST STUDIO SUITE can offer considerable product to market advantages such as shorter development cycles, virtual prototyping before physical trials, and optimization instead of experimentation.
