The PanaCast® plugin enables one click panoramic video collaboration within the Intel® Unite™ software. It is among the first plugins developed using the recently released Intel® Unite™ Plugin Software Development Kit (SDK).
The PanaCast® plugin is integrated into Intel® Unite™ software running on an Intel® Core™ vPro™ processor-based mini PC. It works in conjunction with the PanaCast® 2 Panoramic-4K video camera and PanaCast® Experience software to add real time panoramic video. PanaCast® 2, with its wide field of view (180º X 54º), adds a natural human perspective to meetings, so you can see more of what you need to see. PanaCast® Experience software enables each user to get individual touch based pan and zoom control of their video without disturbing others.
A PanaCast® Panoramic-4K video session begins by clicking on the PanaCast® icon in the Intel® Unite™ application. A PanaCast® video window opens, showing the video stream from the PanaCast® 2 camera alongside other shared content in real time. Both on-site and remote workers can easily view and interact with the content.
