Using Pléiades data, Airbus Defence and Space and CIPAC produced a map of the sports facilities in Port Moresby, in advance of the XV Pacific Games

Jun 29, 2015 -- Port Moresby, the capital of Papua New Guinea, is hosting the XV Pacific Games from 4^th to 18^th July, 2015 .

The city has invested heavily in refurbishing, building and developing its facilities to hold the competition which covers 28 sporting disciplines.

The recent Pléiades image captured on 2^nd June 2015 shows the facilities ready to receive the sportsmen and sportswomen and their supporters. The map produced shows the locations of the sports sites and tourism hotels.
