Geospatial Corporation Announces National Rollout of GeoUnderground

Enterprise Strength Mobile GIS Delivered in a True SaaS Model

PITTSBURGH, May 21, 2015 — (PRNewswire) —  (OTC Pink: GSPH), Geospatial Corporation announced plans to formally launch GeoUnderground our secure, mobile, enterprise strength GIS software platform sold in an affordable SaaS format. Unlike most current GIS software, GeoUnderground eliminates all upfront software and set-up fees and replaces them with an economical monthly subscription model.  A free 14-day trial subscription of the software can be downloaded at www.GeoUnderground.com. Also available in the application is a detailed interactive tutorial showing the benefits and full functionality of GeoUnderground.

GeoUnderground allows users to securely gather, share, view and edit all types of geo-referenced information from their laptop, tablet or phone. Engineers, contractors and utility employees in the field can easily collaborate and share data with colleagues located anywhere in the world without the need for expensive hardware, software or trained GIS technicians.

While Geospatial is constantly developing upgrades, additions and modifications to GeoUnderground, users now have the ability to easily import KML, KMZ and most types of DWG files seamlessly into GeoUnderground. KML stands for Keyhole Markup Language and is an XML file used to display geographic data in a mapping browser. KMZ stands for Keyhole Markup Language Zipped and is a compressed version of KML. GeoUnderground has the ability to import DWG files created with AutoCAD and contain spatial reference information.

Mark Smith, Geospatial's CEO stated, "Our IT Group has done an excellent job developing GeoUnderground and we're now ready to implement a national multi-pronged go to market strategy encompassing direct sales, resellers and channel partners. We feel that GeoUnderground's versatility and ease of use along with a revolutionary Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) low monthly subscription model will result in wide acceptance by engineers, contractors, utilities, municipalities and other government agencies globally."
