HOMAG Group AG partner with ModuleWorks for 5-Axis machining and Simulation

 

   

May 6, 2015 -- ModuleWorks, the leading supplier of CAD/CAM components for toolpath generation and simulation have confirmed their partnership with HOMAG Group AG, a world leader in the manufacture of CNC machinery for the woodworking industry. 

 

The agreement between the two companies will see ModuleWorks provide HOMAG Group AG 3-Axis pocketing featuring state-of-the-art adaptive roughing, 5-Axis toolpath generation and Simulation technology. These components are built into HOMAG Group AG’s CNC programming system for woodworking, woodWOP.

 

woodWOP provides an easy to use solution for all aspects of CNC woodworking with the fast and efficient programming of routing, drilling and sawing operations. woodWOP caters for all types of shapes, from high volume cabinet panels through to complex 3D shapes such as stair rails. Complex surface models can be manufactured using 3-, 4- or 5-Axis machining methods and fully featured simulation helps to ensure safe and efficient machining.

HOMAG Group AG are one of more than 50 CAD/CAM vendors who have partnered with ModuleWorks to provide machining and/or simulation technology to their customers around the world.
