KISTERS signs on as Aras ACE 2015 sponsor

April 1, 2015, Citrus Heights, Calif.  - KISTERS North America, Inc. has signed on as a sponsor for ACE 2015, the Aras Corporation’s annual conference for its user community. The event will be held April 21-23 at the Detroit Marriott at the Renaissance Center in Detroit, Michigan.

Aras Corporation provides Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software for global businesses with complex products and processes. At the conference, attendees learn about the latest technology advancements in Aras, have an opportunity to network with other users, and attend the Partner Exhibit Showcase, where Aras partners demonstrate the latest add-ons and services available for the Aras platform.

"The user conference that Aras hosts each year is an opportunity for clients from around the world to learn how other companies have implemented and customized Aras to achieve their goals," said Jim Eardly, sales manager for Kisters North America. "The integration of Kisters 3DViewStation into Aras Innovator is one of the most significant steps forward for Aras. It permits users to move beyond text-based descriptions of a product to see a 3D rendering of the product.

"Clients can research meta data or structural information via the client mask of Aras Innovator, and visualize the result as a native CAD assembly or in a neutral format, e.g. 3DVS, JT, 3D-PDF or STEP," he added. "This allows our clients to analyze, measure or section products quickly and easily, define views, and much more."

Germar Nikol, director of visualization technologies at Kisters, noted that in the complex world of software development, there is nothing more inspiring and game-changing then the interaction between users and developers at the ACE conference.

"We always look forward to being a part of and supporting this particular user conference," Nikol said. "There is nothing more critical to the development of our product then meeting with the people who are using it each day and understanding how we can continue to fine tune Kisters 3DViewStation to meet their growing needs."

The KISTERS 3DViewStation is a viewing tool suitable not only for dynamic engineering collaboration but also for downstream users who benefit from visualization and understanding of 3D CAD data. With 3DViewStation you can view, analyze, and annotate engineering data for collaboration within your organization and throughout your business supply chain. Import / Export and view data from all major CAD vendors such as CATIA, NX, ProE/Creo and 20+ other formats.

Kisters will be exhibiting in the Partner area.
