ExactFlat OnLine Beta Now Open!

TORONTO, April 7, 2015 — (PRNewswire) — The ExactFlat OnLine Free Beta Program is now open and will be available until May 18, 2015.

ExactFlat OnLine combines industry-leading 3D to 2D flattening technology with the cost and performance advantages of the Cloud. "This solution is being developed as a direct result of community input," stated Cliff Brown, VP of Marketing at ExactFlat. "Our clients and prospects have been asking us to add a scalable way to introduce flattening automation into their soft goods and textiles fabrication process. We now offer both an integrated, all-in-one desktop solution as well as this new modular, pay-as-you-go Cloud option."

In the past three weeks, nearly 100 people have signed up for the Beta Program, and have run more than 1200 tests using the Cloud-based solution. The feedback has been tremendous; both positive and constructive criticism. In fact, changes have already been made to the tool based on beta input.

We encourage designers, engineers and pattern makers to try the solution and validate it for themselves.  Click here to register and login to ExactFlat OnLine.

We also invite you to attend a brief, 20 minute system overview webinar on Thursday April 9 at 1:00pm EDT (Webinar invitations will be sent to registered users).

Automated 3D to 2D Flattening for everyone.
The use of software solutions to automate the design and manufacturing of products made from or covered in fabric, vinyl, leather or composite materials has become prevalent. Challenges have included replacing manual measure, drape and cut processes as well as eliminating the inefficiencies associated with integrating several useful but disparate tools.

Enterprise Soft Goods fabrication automation solutions from companies such as ExactFlat address this problem by linking and shrinking all of the processes into a single digital environment. Smaller manufacturers and firms with significant investments in existing 2D pattern making solutions have been reluctant to add these integration technologies despite the apparent performance benefits. The new licensing models and reduce hardware requirements offered by Cloud solutions like ExactFlat OnLine provide companies with a nearly risk free way to validate the benefits of these products.
