GRAPHISOFT Acquires Artlantis and ArchiCAD Distribution Unit in Italy

PARIS, January 28, 2015 -- Abvent S.A., developer of Artlantis, a family of stand-alone rendering applications developed especially for architects and designers, has announced that GRAPHISOFT has acquired the Artlantis and ArchiCAD distribution unit from Cigraph in Italy.  Effective January 15, 2015, Artlantis will be distributed on the Italian market by GRAPHISOFT Italy.

Cigraph’s partnership with Abvent, one of the world’s leaders in 3D architectural visualization and animation, dates back to 2002.  This strategic alliance allowed Cigraph to expand its product range to include Artlantis, a program that combines the most advanced and efficient functions for the realistic simulation of materials and lighting needed for any 3D project.

With over 30 years of deep product and market knowledge in Italy, Cigraph will now focus on two core business activities:

  • Research on ArchiCAD and Artlantis training methods and services offered to the Italian market; and
  • Continued development of ArchiSuite, which will be expanded to include more vertical problem solutions than before.

Cigraph will continue operations from its current location.
