Glass Artist Jack Storms To Showcase His Renowned Cold Glass Sculptures This Friday & Saturday At Gallery 511 Fine Art In Key West, FL

KEY WEST, Fla., Jan. 22, 2015 — (PRNewswire) —  This Friday and Saturday, January 23 - 24 from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m., fine artist  Jack Storms will bring his one-of-a-kind cold glass sculptures to  Gallery 511 Fine Art in Key West, FL, for a very special "Meet The Artist" showcase! Located at 511 Greene St., Key West, FL 33040, the gallery will host a number of Jack's most celebrated works and give attendees a rare opportunity to meet the greatest of only three cold glass sculptors in the world.

"I'm very excited to show the city of Key West some of my best work," Jack stated. "I hope everyone will enjoy coming out to meet me as much as I'm looking forward to meeting them!"

Based out of StormWorks Studio in Los Angeles CA, Jack Storms' technique incorporates Fibonacci's mathematical theory. He builds each design around a special structure, allowing this to help shape their innate natural beauty instead of fully dictating their final form. The finished products of fine art are a combination of dichroic glass fused with pure, lead crystal, produced by an intense cold glass sculpting process that can take 6 - 24 weeks to complete.

Previously, Jack was commissioned to create specific pieces commemorating historical events. This included a glass baseball bat for Derek Jeter's 3,000th hit, the Firemen's Bell sculpture for the City of Pleasanton CA's Firehouse Arts Center, a special gift to the President of Nigeria in honor of the opening of Africa's first blood bank, and recently, two glass sculptures for Marvel's blockbuster hit Guardians of the Galaxy!

To view Jack Storms' work and meet the artist in person, please RSVP by 2:00 p.m. EST on Friday, January 23, by emailing  Email Contact or calling 310.441.1000.

Be sure to keep up with Jack for future updates through his  FacebookTwitter, and  Instagram!
