Oxford, England. January 13, 2015 -- Registrations for the Launch Meeting of the
PLM International Research Foundation now include participation from three continents.
More than 50 organisations from 28 countries have participated in activities leading up to the Launch, making this the most important international initiative addressing the future of PLM.
This has become a global meeting to debate the future of PLM, with the potential to create the mechanism that can make it happen. If the PLM-IRF structure is established, it will be far in advance of anything that currently exists, and will create a single PLM research programme that unifies the globe.
Forward-thinking industrial companies should participate in Brussels to drive this programme in the direction they will need for future manufacturing. Vendors should participate because the programme will generate an unparalleled drive for adoption of advanced PLM. Integrators, service providers and consultancies should attend in order to embody the new thinking into their PLM services and advice. Researchers should participate to add their own input to the research scope that has been developed so far.
Registration for the Launch Meeting
is open until 21 January, and more information is available via
Email Contact.
