Exprodat Gives You 24 Seconds to Win At PETEX 2014

Nov 13, 2014 -- At the upcoming bi-annual PETEX conference and exhibition in London, Exprodat will challenge visitors to booth A40 by testing their reactions on a BATAK Pro machine, drawing a parallel with how deploying Esri’s ArcGIS Platform can significantly improve a company’s ability respond to a crisis incident.

At PETEX 2014, the Exprodat BATAK Challenge will give everyone 24 seconds to turn off as many lights as possible. The person that sets the highest total on each of the three days of the exhibition will be given a complete box set of the hit TV series 24. Maybe Jack Bauer can achieve so much in a day because he trains on a BATAK machine?

Exprodat transforms oil and gas company performance by implementing and supporting ArcGIS, Esri’s industry leading location analytics platform, for use within petroleum workflows. Exprodat delivers companies competitive advantage across the oil-field lifecycle by increasing their operational efficiency, improving their decision making and transforming their incident response capability.

Exprodat’s Sales & Marketing Director, Jules Cullen explained why the BATAK Machine is a good reflection of the services and software that Exprodat provide: “Helping oil companies to deploy Esri’s ArcGIS-based Common Operating Picture for crisis management is a fast growing part of our business. A rapid response to any incident greatly increases the safety of people and protection of wildlife and the environment. We like to think that, just like using the BATAK, Exprodat and ArcGIS are able to improve the speed of our customer’s reactions.

PETEX 2014 will take place at ExCel London in the city’s Docklands between 18th and 20th November. Watch the winner from 2010 set an extremely impressive score of 50 in thirty seconds: http://bit.ly/1sEbHIB
