TigerDirect claims exclusive distribution of ImmersiON-VRelia’s virtual reality HMD “The GO”

National launch of “The GO” adds to excitement of Tech Bash

MIAMI — (BUSINESS WIRE) — November 5, 2014TigerDirect announced today that it has secured exclusive national distribution rights for ImmersiON-VRelia’s “The GO.” Supported by a standout software development kit and open content creation platform, The GO is a smartphone-powered Head Mounted Display (HMD), which delivers a 120-degree field of view, adjustable optics and the ability to accommodate most smartphone screen sizes.

The GO will hit the market at TigerDirect’s 2014 TigerDirect Tech Bash on Friday, November 7 at Miami’s Marlins Park, providing early adopters and virtual reality disciples an opportunity to demo the latest in head-mounted displays. A limited number of units will also be available for purchase. Those wishing to pre-order will have the first opportunity to do so at the bash.
