IGC to Preview Doc Merge Capabilities at Alfresco Summit in London

SCOTTSDALE, AZ -- (Marketwired) -- Oct 07, 2014 -- Informative Graphics Corporation ( IGC®), an Alfresco Certified Technology Partner and a leader in viewing, collaboration and redaction technology, will be previewing the latest Brava!® Enterprise universal viewer for Alfresco One at the Alfresco Summit in London, October 7-9. The preview will highlight several new capabilities:

Doc Merge. This feature lets users merge pages from multiple files into one cohesive document using simple drag and drop functionality. The feature even allows different file types to be merged, such as a Word document, PDF file and CAD drawing. Users can then add watermarks or banners to the newly merged file and save it as a PDF or TIFF -- all while leaving the original source files intact.

Customized feature sets. Features can be customized by disabling buttons and menus that a role or even an individual won't need. Tailoring to specific needs can decrease the time and money invested in training for features that certain employees might not even use in their workflow -- as well as make for a cleaner, more streamlined interface.

User-interface improvements. The latest version of Brava Enterprise for Alfresco includes more descriptive dialog box messages and an enhanced compare feature.

"All of our new capabilities are designed to help users work more effectively and efficiently, and we're looking forward to introducing our EMEA audience to the possibilities this integration offers," said Mark Farlin, IGC director of product management.

Certified for Alfresco One, Brava's HTML5 client, the first HTML viewer to support vector, offers crisp views at any zoom level. The zero-footprint Brava viewer runs within a web browser, so users across the enterprise can view and annotate documents on PCs or Macs -- without installing expensive native software on every desktop.
