EDA Consortium Events

Crossing the Chasm: From Technology to Valuable Enterprise
Wednesday, October 8, 2014, at EDAC, San Jose, CA

For a new, disruptive EDA technology, progressing from research through product to valuable enterprise can be a long and difficult path.

Join us at the October 8th installment of the popular EDAC - Jim Hogan Emerging Companies Series, where Jim will talk with Kathryn Kranen about her experiences taking multiple companies across the chasm from technology research to a valuable enterprise.

Prior to being acquired by Cadence earlier this year, Kathryn was President and CEO of Jasper Design Automation. At Jasper, she helped to grow the company from a small start-up into the leader in formal verification by providing high value solutions for the design and verification of electronic systems. Kathryn has also built Verisity and Quickturn into valuable enterprises, both of which were also acquired by Cadence.

In this informal talk, Kathryn will share her experiences building business success as well as technical success, including: how to get customers to use the new technology and how to validate the value of your products to the electronic design marketplace.

Watch short videos featuring Jim Hogan and Kathryn Kranen talking about this exciting event.
